There are so many options available, so finding the right match can be difficult—especially if you are a first-time cup or disc user. The Period Nirvana Quiz is equipped with a wide range of outcomes comprised of only high-quality menstrual cups and discs. This is the first menstrual cup quiz to provide individualized paths for each person who takes it. Whether you’ve never tried a cup, are experiencing issues with your current cup, or are open to trying a disc for the first time, this quiz adapts its line of questioning to only ask what’s relevant to you. There are near-infinite pathways built into the quiz based on your answers.
The Period Nirvana Quiz went through three rounds of beta testing before the first version was launched to the public. And while we don’t claim perfection, the feedback from the quiz beta testers gave the quiz a 97% for either accuracy or assumed accuracy with only 3% of takers saying their result wasn’t the perfect match for them.

The Period Nirvana Quiz is a living, breathing thing. So, you will see fine-tuning as time goes on, based on user feedback. The quiz was updated in May 2020 to add new questions (Do you have an IUD?) and new results. In April 2022 several newly released brands were added for a wider range of results. Outcomes will change as new and better products launch that are a good fit for quiz takers. Further, brands may be removed if they’re no longer easily available, and replaced with an equivalent choice. You can help influence the quiz by leaving feedback in this survey.

Most of Period Nirvana’s Quiz results are sold by our sister retail website Period.Shop We worked backward by designing the quiz outcomes first, followed by selecting the brands that were the best fit for those outcomes, and then we worked with those brands to create wholesale relationships for our curated menstrual cup store.
